Basic Motor Control Class

Instructor: Ken Dickinson
Goal:

This class is a basic/refresher motor control class that will cover 2 wire and 3 wire controls.  We will go through how to read and write motor control drawings, how to wire stop/start stations, interlocking, forward/reversing controls, and jogging circuits.  This will be hands on class with a lot of lab time wiring actual devices.  We will also cover troubleshooting and wiring auxiliary devices.

Hours: 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Length: 9 night's

Textbook and Workbooks:

Bring wire strippers and Small Slotted & Phillips Screwdriver's

Registration may be done in person at the JATC or you can complete the registration form which is available on our website at www.ocett.org on the Journeyman classes tab and mail to JATC along with the class fee to the address below. Limited Space is Available. All registrants must be members in good standing of IBEW Local 441 or Orange County Chapter of NECA.
